J’ai clairement préféré les deux premiers tomes et je trouve que Paullina Simons aurait pu arrêter la saga après le deuxième tome. J’ai néanmoins trouvé. The first two books were my favorites, and although I knew it would take all three to complete the journey, I was less enthused with this last book. Inoubliabble miss them so much! Apart from her novels, Paullina has also written a cookbook, Tatiana’s Tablewhich is a collection of recipes, short stories and recollections from her best selling trilogy of novels, The Bronze Horseman, The Bridge to Holy Crossalso known as Tatiana and Alexander and The Summer Garden.
Alexander more, because he was an asshole, but Tatiana as well, because SHE was the one who constantly apologized, when HE was the asshole. But I’ve never been this infuriated with her until The Summer Garden.
I onoubliable a hard time with how women were treated during that time period and while certainly Tania doesn’t hold her punches, I tatiaa totally shocked at what Shura did. Ame a los Metanov, mi favorito sin duda Pasha. I’m disappointed in myself for not loving this as much this time around. This book–the third installment in The Bronze Horseman series–shows Alexander at his worst, but I still love him.
Simons wanted to deliver Unfortunately, not all their problems are solved. What happened to the Alexander who got angry with her family when I have been reading this book since 4th March i have stopped reading several times but after re-reading book 1 and 2 this year i was determined to finish it so i went back to page 1 and started again.

I have to say that I enjoyed the pre-Alexander story of Tatiana’s summer in Luga more than the heaviness of their life in present-day America. View all 5 comments. Growing up in Russia Paullina dreamt of someday becoming a writer. In a time where women were expected to stay home and be a housewife, I think even I would defy the norm and go to work. The time has fast forwarded very quickly and we get caught up on what everyone is doing. Return to Book Page. But despite the fact that I didn’t love the third book as much, I still think this is the most epic trilogy ever. Being the final installment in the trilogy, I desperately wanted to know what happened to this amazing couple.
I devoured this book. All of the books iinoubliable this trilogy were so intense and captivating.
When he punched her, SHE was the one who apologized. I will forever remember these characters and I see myself reminiscing their stories in the future as if I had actually lived alongside them. And their love survives it all and on a summer’s day in a war torn Russia they marry. Where did he go? I finally finished The Summer Garden. Majority of the book was a solid 4 stars but once we got towards the end, sadly, the story felt way too dragged on.
